The Collins’ sisters joined forces for the second time in this third-rate sequel to the second-rate ‘The Stud’ based on one of Jackie’s potboilers. Joan once again stars as the over-sexed, newly divorced Fontaine Khaled, whose failing Mayfair nightclub, Hobo, leads her to take a loan from a gangland thug known, ironically, as Feather (Ian Hendry). The accompanying disco soundtrack features songs by Gloria Gaynor (‘I Will Survive’), Blondie (‘Denis’) and Leo Sayer (‘You Make Me Feel Like Dancing’) a long with a cracking theme tune by Olympic Runners and Don Black, which is so bad its good.
